Pioneer is introducing 10 new car audio decks for 2015, half of which include new Bluetooth features.

It’s Bluetooth radios now offer  automatic pairing and dual device pairing.

They also use Bluetooth HFP 1.6 with Wideband speech for better phone conversation sound quality.  They also allow music library browsing over Bluetooth (AVRCP 1.5).

With new Auto Pairing the driver uses a USB cable to connect his iPhone and is then prompted to confirm pairing.  This eliminates the need to go through the wireless “searching for devices” process.

With dual device pairing, users can keep two phones paired to their radio.

The 10 new Pioneer models range in suggested retail price from $90 to $150, and include a CD-less (mechless) model at $100.

Many of the receivers work with Android phones and all include Siri Eyes Free voice control over an iPhone.  All also allow easy Pandora station creation from the car radio and they include the Pioneer MixTrax DJ feature.  Some also offer HD Radio or satellite radio.

Pricing and model numbers are: $150 (FH-X720BT), $120 (FH-X520UI), $130 (DEH-X6700BS), $120 (DEH-X6700BT), $110 (DEH-X5700HD), $110 (DEH-X4700BT), $110 (DEH-X3700S), $100 (DEH-X3700UI), $90 (DEH-X2700UI), and $100 (MVH-X370BT).
