Fortin will ship in August a new bypass module, EVO-KEY, that doesn’t require software downloads by the installer for many vehicles.

The EVO-KEY is pre-loaded with data for 3,500-plus vehicles, so an installer can remote start the car without needing to hide a key away in a physical box somewhere in the car.

The device uses little power consumption.  It is compatible with DCryptor, an OEM key copying technology that decrypts the OEM key.  This technology has been available on more expensive bypasses like the EVO-ALL in the past, but the EVO-KEY is the first of its kind that works with a key copying technology, said Fortin.

The EVO-KEY has a 32-bit / 256k ARM chip inside so it is a very strong hardware for this kind of product.

It is recommended for use in vehicles from Hyundai and Kia, Nissan and Infiniti, as well as Ford 80-bit vehicles.
