Cerwin-Vega Mobile is now shipping a limited edition Stroker Pro subwoofer to select retailers.
The 60-year anniversary edition of the subwoofer uses elements and characteristics of older generation Stroker Pro subwoofers. It is offered in 12 and 15-inch sizes, and it is designed to “withstand enormous amounts of power,” said Cerwin-Vega.
The 15 inch model weighs about 85 lbs. and is packaged in a specially designed wooden crate. It has eight-gauge copper wire that is directly connected to extra heavy duty tinsel leads for maximum current transfer. A powerful triple stacked magnet motor structure is locked in place by
industrial-strength fastened straps.
Power handling for the 15-inch SPRO152D is rated at 2500 watts RMS and the 12-inch SPRO122D is rated at 2000 watts RMS.
Retail pricing ranges from $1,749.99 – $1,999.99.
