Apple will introduce the iPhone 6 in August, a month earlier than expected, Reuters said citing a Taiwanese media report.
Two screen sizes are expected to be offered on the newest iPhone. A model with a 4.7 inch screen should reach stores in August (although the exact country for delivery was not specified by the report by the Economic Daily News). A larger, 5.5-inch version is due for September, said the report.
Currently, the iPhone bears a 4-inch screen, and the upgrade is expected to help Apple compete with Samsung.
