Magellan today announced the availability of its RoadMate 6230-LM DashCam GPS Navigator – a unit that gives users protection from questionable accident claims through a built in digital video recorder.
The RoadMate 6230-LM Dashcam Navigator comes with advanced features such as:

* Junction view lane guidance graphics
* The intuitive audio directions of landmark guidance
* Free lifetime map updates
* 120-degree wide-angle viewing for a detailed look at the road
* A G-Sensor detects and records any sudden motion or speed changes
* Optional back-up camera capability
The RoadMate 6230-LM DashCam Navigator can capture a traffic accident, a scenic drive or an unexpected event on the road for further reference. It can display either where a user is headed on the GPS map, or what the live camera feed(s) immediately ahead or behind them are showing.
The RoadMate 6230-LM DashCam Navigator was a Popular Mechanics Editors’ Choice award winner at CES 2014.
