Consumer electronics distributor B&B Electronics will hold its fifth annual Dealer Expo, which will take place March 13-16, 2014 at the Delta South Hotel in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Car audio sales trainer Del Ellis will host of the Sales Techniques Workshops at the show. As a retail expert and top MERA KnowledgeFest presenter, Ellis will be teach sales skills and techniques for the retail sales floor. This will be mainly a hands-on workshop.
“This year I will be teaching retail dealers how to handle excuses like ‘It costs too much’ or ‘I can get it cheaper on the internet’ and I will give them the Carnivore methods and techniques to help them close more sales,” said Ellis.
“The true art and skills of selling are often lost or overlooked in today’s specialty retailer market,” says Jay Haberman, B&B’s National Sales Manager, and Director of Haberman Marketing. “And with the extra pressures retailers face from online sales, OE products, and a more informed customer, we need to give retailers tools they can use daily to re-establish themselves as the true specialist in their markets. Del’s track record speaks for itself in this area. His keynote addresses at our third annual B&B Dealer Expo opened a lot of eyes in the room, and we felt we needed to bring him back with a more hands on approach to turn concepts into practice with our retailers.
