The Mobile Electronics Retailers Association (MERA) announced a call for speakers for the upcoming KnowledgeFest tradeshow to be held August 16-19 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
Skilled retailers, installation professionals, sales experts, and consultants are invited to present their credentials along with suggested topics for seminars at KnowledgeFest.
KnowledgeFest’s teaching seminars are divided into three tracks targeting store owners and managers, sales professionals and installation technicians. Sessions are aimed at one of the three groups and focus on bite-sized topics that can be quickly integrated into a store’s existing operations.
“KnowledgeFest is 100 percent focused on bettering the businesses of our industry’s retail businesses,” said Chris Cook, President of MERA. “It’s our commitment to have retail and installation professionals leave with potent knowledge that they can implement to see an immediate improvement in their stores.”
The tradeshow focuses heavily on peer-based instruction, which “not only gives other professionals firsthand information, it also motivates them to succeed because one of their own has done it.” said Cook.
