SANTA ANA, CA–Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC) introduced three new auxiliary input converter kits for select vehicles from Toyota, Ford and Honda.
The kits route audio from an auxiliary source like music from a smartphone via RCA input into the factory radio, providing high quality audio performance. The suggested retail price for each of these auxiliary input converter kits is $99.95
The kit model AAI-FD4 converts the rear seat entertainment port in select factory Ford, Lincoln and Mercury CAN-BUS radios to a RCA level audio input. It has built-in audio adjustment circuitry with a 0 to +20 dB input sensitivity range of 0.475 to 4.75 volts (peak to peak) allowing the installer to match the audio level of the auxiliary device to that of the AM, FM, or CD modes of the factory radio. A full list of applications for the AAI-FD4 can be found on the PAC website.
The AAI-TY3 and AAI-HD3 convert the satellite or CD changer port of select factory radios (12-pin Toyota, Scion and Lexus radios for the AAI-TY3 and 14-pin Honda and Acura radios for the AAI-HD3) to RCA level audio input. Both can be easily configured via internal DIP switches to work in either satellite or CD changer mode depending on the radio’s capabilities. Applications for the AAI-TY3 and the AAI-HD3 can be found on the PAC website.
