Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC) and Best Kits & Harnesses will introduce at CES this week the industry’s first all-in-one solution for installing an aftermarket head unit in a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500 while retaining the OEM look and infotainment features.
The solution retains General Motors features including OnStar, parking assistance, and steering wheel controls (SWC) and gives you an in-dash installation kit. It includes the PAC RP5-GM51 RadioPRO 5 radio replacement kit and a Best Kits BKGM325BM dash kit. Suggested retail prices are $229.95 for the RP5-GM51 is and $49.95 for the BKGM325BM.
The PAC RP5-GM51 seamlessly interfaces with 29-bit GM LAN v2 data bus systems with 16 and 20-Pin harnesses found in the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. It requires no steering wheel control programming and allows firmware updates.
The Best Kits’ BKGM325BM provides a single or double DIN dash kit to replace a factory 2014 Chevrolet Silverado or 2014 GMC Sierra radio with an aftermarket radio.
