Ford is added a Domino’s Pizza app for the car plus other apps and will host the industry’s first App Developers conference this June, with the aim of getting more useful apps in the car.

With its new Domino’s Easy Order app, you can order a pizza for takeout or delivery using voice commands as you drive.

Another app from ADT lets you monitor security at your home or business from the car.  There’s also a new Parkopedia app to find the nearest parking spot and pay for it plus a mood music app called HABU.

Ford also said its next generation of AppLink will let apps launch faster in the car.

Ahead of your meeting with Ford, I’m sharing the news that today at CES 2014 Ford announced four new apps for SYNC AppLink. Ford drivers with SYNC AppLink-equipped vehicles will now be able to easily order their saved Domino’s Easy Order for carryout of delivery using voice commands, monitor their homes or business security with ADT, automatically play music based on mood with HABU, find the nearest parking spot with Parkopedia then pay for that parking spot as you pull into a space with Parkmobile.

Ford also announced that the company will host an industry-first developer conference this June. The developer conference will focus on bringing innovative mobile apps into the car through AppLink. Prior to the conference, developers will have a chance to win SYNC technology development kits and one-on-one support from Ford engineers through a mobile app competition at developer.ford.com.
