DOUGLASVILLE, GA–Omega Research and Development Technologies said it is shipping this month, the ECHO-4HR upgrade kit to add an easy to read, two-way transmitter with 1 mile range on certain car security and remote start systems.
The new transmitter remote control has a black and white LCD screen for viewing confirmation of commands such as arm/disarm and confirmation of remote start commands.
It has the same sleek case as the ECHO-4 with the larger, easy to read LCD display, and bigger easy to use buttons. The display shows system status, time, and battery life.
The ECHO-4HR will also alert you if the alarm is triggered while you are within the 1-mile range of the vehicle.
It works with select “Hyper Range” Excalibur EDP / EDPB / and Crime Guard i7 / i8 model units (indicated by a Green connector on the window-mount antenna).
