Brandmotion is offering a HomeLink product that lets you remote control your home lighting from your car.
HomeLink is the in-vehicle standard for controlling garage door openers, entry gates and other devices from your car.
The new Brandmotion Safe and Secure package lets car audio retailers sell a complete home convenience system that requires no in-home installation expertise.
The package comes with a HomeLink in-vehicle system and a LiftMaster Remote Lamp Control unit. While Brandmotion suggests professional in-car installation for the HomeLink system, the lamp control unit simply plugs into any 120-volt home outlet and then a lamp plugs into it. Each package is pre-programmed so the two units communicate with no additional steps.
The HomeLink product can operate up to two lighting controllers, or one lighting controller and another HomeLink receiver like a garage or gate opener. Additional LiftMaster lighting controllers can be purchased separately.
Safe and Secure is shipping now starting at $289.95 suggested retail price.
