EDMOND, OK— Petra Industries, a leading nationwide distributor announced a new partnership with Bad Elf, which supplies a product that can turn an Apple device lacking cellular service into a GPS device with twice the accuracy of other GPS devices.

“The GPS market is still strong and Bad Elf offers an accessory to improve and enhance location position accuracy,” said Tate Morgan, Petra Industries. “This partnership gives Petra an exciting new element to our GPS offering, and we’re excited to give our dealers another great product to offer their customers.”

Bad Elf can be used with an iPod touch or WiFi-only iPad. It is also useful in areas where cellular locations are weak as it does not use cellular network towers for positioning.  Bad Elf GPS receivers may also be used for more demanding applications such as military, commercial aviation and marine usage.

Dealers can find more information about the line in Petra’s new fall 2013 catalog or online at www.petra.com
