MESA, the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America buying/marketing group, announced 14 new members have joined under its newly launched Gold program, a second tier of membership for retailers with lower revenues than the original 47 members.
With the new members, the group now has 61 members total, comprising 162 storefront locations and representing $168 million in yearly car audio sales across 33 states.
MESA members receive group buying benefits as well as marketing and training benefits.
The new Gold level includes retailers with annual revenues from $700,000 to $1.8 million per year. The existing “Platinum” membership level requires sales of $1.8 million and above.
