Compustar is shipping new mini-sized key fob transmitter for remote start systems. The “Slice 1B” offers two-way control in a small one-button remote with LED confirmation of commands and 2,000 foot range.
When using a long range transmitter, the car may not be within sight so a confirmation is handy to make sure the car has started via remote command. The Slice 1B uses LED lights—one to confirm the car is locked, one to confirm unlock and one to confirm remote start. Through this system, it is able to keep the remote transmitter at a small 1.75 inches by 1 inch by ½ inch think so it isn’t a nuisance on a key chain.
The Super Heterodyne Plus transmitter (RF-2W1B-SP) is available for pre-order now at $249 suggested retail price. The package includes one 2-way remote and one 1-way remote.
