Directed announced its Viper SmartStart app is now available in the Windows Phone Store. The new app, along with Directed hardware, provides remote-start from a Windows Phone.
A beta version of the app was released previously, but now the app is fully built‐out to include all features of Viper SmartStart 3.1, including remote start, SmartStart GPS teen tracking and diagnostic code notification.
The app also provides access to SmartSchedule, which keeps track of your schedule and the weather and alerts you when it’s time to start your car.
A free (demo) version of the app requires no subscription or hardware, and includes a parking locator, and Parking Meter utility.
The app also lets you keep tabs on the security of your vehicle, and receive alerts if it goes somewhere you want to know about, or over the speed limit. You can lock and unlock the vehicle easily without fumbling for your keys.
