Metra Electronics announced new radio replacement kits in single and double DIN configurations are available for 2013-and-later, full-size crossover SUVs including the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse.
Aftermarket radios can be added to the SUVs with a Metra 99-3310B kit (for single DIN) and 95-3310B (for double DIN). Both are painted a scratch resistant matte black to best match the OEM finish.
A Metra 40-EU10 antenna adapter fits between the new radio and the vehicles antenna cable making it an easy plug and play install. The more common interface used for the non-amplified factory systems is the AXXESS GMOS-LAN-01. The interface pulls information from the vehicles’ network of data to retain OnStar and provides the needed outputs for radio installation.
For factory premium sound systems and OnStar retention, use the GMOS-LAN-02.
