HEATHROW, FL–
Dual Electronics today announced that it has opened a sales office and a warehouse facility in the Los Angeles area. Following the recent hiring of David Park, Western Regional Sales Manager, the new office is part of a strategic restructuring effort aimed at helping Dual grow and better serve the 12 Volt industry, with a particular focus on west coast markets.
“In the past 12 months we have made several strategic changes in the way we operate our business,” said Jim Braun, President and CEO of Dual. “We just recently consolidated our product development and supporting functions into our R & D facility in Seoul, to eliminate redundancy between the US and Korean offices. The recent opening of the LA facility was an important step. Going forward, we will continue to focus our efforts on further streamlining our operations, developing new products and expanding further into Latin America as well as the aviation industry”, added Braun.
In support of its commitment to the 12 Volt industry, Dual has recently expanded its Axxera product line by adding 21 new SKUs, including the Axxera’s first assortment of speakers and amplifiers. The Dual branded line of multimedia DVD receivers has also grown from 3 models in early 2012, to 7 SKUs in the 2012/2013 lineup. The Dual-branded GPS and ADS-B receivers also continue to gain market share in the aviation industry, while three more aviation products are planned for the summer and fall introduction.
