Ingram Micro Spring Expo Featured Gary Shapiro Keynote

Ingram Micro Consumer Electronics (IMCE), hosted its annual Spring Vendor Expo April 30 – May 2 in Scottsdale, AZ drawing over 500 manufacturers and vendors at the 16th annual event.

President and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, Gary Shapiro, gave a keynote address and spoke about challenges and opportunities within the CE industry and shared personal stories.

Over 125 manufacturers exhibited, offered product training, demonstrations, and launched new products, to an audience of over 150 resellers and nearly 100 IM associates making this its largest vendor Expo to date.

This Expo included product training sessions sponsored by Samsung, Panasonic, Ergotron/Omnimount, and Microsoft, One-on-One meetings with key retailers were sponsored by Sony, Logitech, Chamberlain, KEF, CoolerMaster, SwissGear, MadCatz, Amazon, and Conair/Cuisinart.

Wrapping up the Expo, was an annual charity golf tournament.

For the first time, IMCE made the event environmentally friendly, using recycled resources, and local suppliers and even purchasing carbon offsets.. Both the Expo and  golf tournament were  certified carbon neutral by carbonfund.org.
