JVC Mobile Entertainment will conduct a road tour through 20 major markets designed to educate consumers and promote business for retailers.
The “Plugged-In Road to Sturgis Tour” will lauinch in May and will include demo events in retailer parking lots, live music entertainment and motorcycle stunt shows.
The tour will focus on educating consumers on the new functions in JVC radios including integration with apps like Pandora and navigation. Other apps JVC radios work with include iHeartRadio, Tune-In, MotionX, BBE and many others.
“It is becoming increasingly more difficult to educate and expose consumers to the technology that can be available at their fingertips. The Plugged-In Tour is a way to drive traffic to our local retailers, educate and entertain potential new fans of mobile entertainment products,” said Chad Vogelsong, General Manager, Marketing JVC Mobile Entertainment.. “So we figured what better way to get people out to our dealers? Why not bring a free admission lifestyle driven co-promoted festival right to their front doorstep!”
The JVC tour will include live music from Angels Fall (www.angelsfallmusic), Girl On Fire (http://www.girlonfiremusic.com) and Lost In Los Angeles (www.lostinlosangeles.com); a freestyle wheelies Harley stunt show from Unknown; and a pin-up runway fashion show by Romantic Rock – plus providing support and creating awareness for two great charities Music Saves Lives and Boot Campaign.
The tour will be wrapped within a 360° marketing and media campaign, consisting of (1) Online & Mobile: updated video / photo content from the road; rotating banner advertising; and social media integration; (2) PR in advance of the event and on the tour (3) On air radio station prize pack giveaways in each market (4) Onsite and Online Plugged In Tour Enter To Win Consumer Sweepstakes
