ATLANTA–
Hybrid Audio Technologies achieved what no other competition team has done before, earning both of the coveted Triple Crown awards at the recent Spring Break Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL; the highest achievable honor in sound quality competition.
In Expert Solo and Pro/Am, Klifton Keplinger and Rick Haentjens took home the coveted SBN Triple Crown awards in both the two-seat and one-seat divisions, respectively; a result never before accomplished by one competition team.
Hybrid Audio winners also included Chris LaCombe, Team Hybrids’ Coordinator, with a 1st place in IASCA’s Pro class for sound quality. He was joined by first-time IASCA competitor, Neil Cobilla in 3rd place, and Garvin Williamson who was runner-up by one-point in in IASCA’s Ultimate class, in his first sound quality competition.
In other events, Robert Hilton was runner-up in MECA’s Street class and Dave Brooks returned to competition with a fresh build, and achieved 3rd in MECA’s Modex class.
