Hewlett-Packard just announced a low cost 7-inch tablet that might be seen as a competitor to the iPod touch. At $169, the HP Slate 7 has embedded Beats Audio, a 7 inch screen and it weighs less than 13 ounces.
The affordable tablet, which launches in April, will run Android Jelly Bean on a 1.6 GHz dual core processor. It includes a 3MP rear camera and front-facing VGA camera.
