Audiomobile will introduce at CES two new subwoofer lines designed to offer both high power and a low profile for easy installation in cramped spaces.

The company claims its speakers also work in small box enclosures, differentiating them from most other low profile woofers, according to VP Sales & Marketing Matt Overpeck. Both lines use stamped baskets with 6-spoke steel frames and a forced air bi-radial asymmetrical convention (FAB-RAC) thermal management system.

The GTS line handles 400 watts RMS and comes in 10 and 12 inch sizes.  It works with boxes 5 and 7 cubic feet, respectively.

The GT3 line handles 600 watts RMS and comes in 12 and 15 inch sizes.   It uses a double stacked magnet and upgraded voice coil.

Shipping is expected at the end of the first quarter at $249 and $279 suggested retail prices for the GTS models and $299 and $399 for the GT3 models.

During CES in Las Vegas next week, Audiomobile will co-host a cocktail reception for car audio retailers on Tuesday, January 8 at 35 Steaks + Martinis, from 5:30 till 7:30 pm.  To RSVP email [email protected].

It will also display at a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel, January 8 – 10th, in Studio One, at Paradise Tower from noon to 9 pm.
