Rydeen has added a new value-priced option to its line of replacement rear view mirrors with a built-in monitor for use with a back up camera.
On display at CES next month will be the MV311T, which began shipping last month. It’s a step up to the MV311S, adding a temperature display and compass to the budget line.
The mirror has a built-in 3.5 inch display which can also work with a back up camera to automatically switch on when the car goes into reverse. Users may also get a full mirror view for the back up camera.
The mirror also displays driving direction in the top right corner.
The MV311T ships as a standalone kit (mirror, sensors and harnesses) at a suggested retail price of $260. It is also available in a series of kits that pair the mirror with one of six Rydeen rear-view cameras.
