Sound Storm Laboratories (SSL), a sister company to Boss Audio, has introduced 4 new in-dash AV/radios at budget prices.
All models include a 7-inch touch screen, iPod control and front and rear USB ports plus SD card slot. The 2 single DIN models have a motorized flip out screen and steering wheel controls (models SD720MI and SD722MBI).
The two double DIN models are the DD880I and DD882BI.
They range in everyday retail prices from $179 for the basic models to $199 for Bluetooth enabled models.
For 2013, SSL will expand its car AV models to include versions with smaller screens. The company is developing two models with 3.2-inch screens to start at $79 every day price and $99 with Bluetooth. They will include USB, SD and aux-in ports plus a rear view camera input with a trigger wire and front and rear RCA outputs.
