For the past year, Viper has donated the proceeds from downloads of its special-edition pink user interface for its Viper SmartStart mobile app to benefit breast cancer research.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Directed encourages users to download the pink user interface for the SmartStart and contribute to Viper’s campaign against breast cancer.
For every 99-cent download, Viper has donated 100 percent of the net proceeds to groups dedicated to fighting breast cancer.
“Breast cancer kills tens of thousands of women every year in the United States alone,” said Mike Simmons, president of Directed, which manufactures Viper products. “Viper is proud to help the campaign to increase awareness and fight on the front lines against this horrible disease.”
To find the pink version of SmartStart, just press the “More” tab in the app, and hit the “Customize” icon. The pink UI for the Viper SmartStart is exclusively available for the iPhone.
