Remote start supplier Compustar is shipping 4 new remote transmitters including its first to use the Super Heterodyne PLUS frequency for extended range.
The new models also sport redesigned casings. Three of the units, RF-P2W902-SP, RF-P1WG7-SP and RF-P1B-SH, fall under the Compustar Pro Series for select retailers.
The RF-P2W902-SP is a 2-way remote that provides instant audible and visual confirmation via LED lights. The RF-P1WG7-SP is a 1-way remote that is encased in a heavy-duty shell that is both high-impact and water resistant. Both units now have a range of about 3,000 feet, approximately double that of earlier models. The RF-P1B-SH is 1-button remote that replaces the RF-P1B-SS.
A fourth model falls under Compustar’s Prime Series, available at all Compustar retailers. The RF-1WG6-AM offers a new heavy duty/water-resistant casing and a range of 1000 feet.
All require a Firstech control module.
