Addictive Audio announced a new high powered mono amp and a matching subwoofer plus a new shallow mount subwoofer line.
The Elite Series 250.1D mono amplifier handles 2,730 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm (13.8v) delivering clean, efficient power, said the company.
It is joined by a Version 4 subwoofer, designed to handle the power output of the 250.1D.
Also new are Version ‘S’ shallow mount series 10” and 12” woofers, which provide deep bass in a shallow sealed enclosure for cramped installations.
“With additional models added to the Addictive Audio line up, dealers may now have a product for everyone. Furthermore; growth in our merchandise line ultimately identifies greater profit margins for our exclusive dealers,” said Bryan McCutchen, Addictive Audio President and CEO.
The 250.1D and all Elite series amplifiers are constructed with dual, hand-wound power-supply transformers, and aluminum shaft potentiometers with “click” technology. All components are soldered into a dual layer, through-hole, 4 ounce copper circuit board, which is the highest quality board available.
Addictive Audio subwoofers include the company’s proprietary TIGHTWEAVE woven black Kevlar with long strand, Kevlar-reinforced paper-pulp backing.
Suggested retail pricing is $1,149.99 for the 250.1D; $643.99-$689.99 for the Version 4 and $159.99-$169.99 for the Version S.
