At its annual summit, car audio buying/marketing group Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) handed out awards to 8 vendors, including Hertz, which took the “Online Regulator” award for “keeping the Internet clean.”
Pioneer won the “Freshman” award for “making such an immediate impact in its first year” as a partner.
Hushmat won the “Training Guru” award for the second year in a row for its product training.

Report Master Award (Kenwood) — For up-to-the-minute performance reports
Marketing Champion Award (Rockford Fosgate, 2 years running!) — For consistent marketing magic
The Recruiter Award (Al Fontane, DEI) — For recruiting new Members and promoting Group philosophies
First Responder Award (Concept) — For being the first to respond to M.E.S.A. communications
The 3-day meeting was held September 9-12 in Denver and included product and marketing training.
