For the first time, 3 leading car audio sound off organizations will hold their competition final events at the same location and at the same time. The date for the finals is October 6 and 7 in Indianapolis, IN.
Each organization—IASCA, dB Drag Racing and USACi— will perform its own judging by its own rules. But the judging will take place simultaneously in 3 side-by-side judging stations that are coordinated so one competitor can compete in several contests, said dB Drag Racing President Wayne Harris.
By co-locating the finals, competitors, exhibitors and the sound off organizations will reduce costs. It also makes it easier for contestants to participate in more than one event.
“We now have the big top all under one roof,” said Harris.
Each organization will announce its individual winners and there will be a single combined awards party during the event.
Harris expects about 150 competitors for the event, which will take place at the State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis in the Blue Ribbon Hall Pavillion, a 70,000 square foot location.
