Los Angeles, CA–Sonic Electronix announced it was a leading sponsor of the recent Hot Import Nights event held at the Los Angeles Convention on July 7.
The online/brick and mortar retailer teamed up with suppliers MTX, Cerwin Vega, NVX Audio, Scosche, JBL, Infinity and Harman to give away over $6,000 in prizes.
Sonic brought along 4 car audio installers who manned posts at its booth so showgoers could determine on site which products would fit in their vehicle and get estimates on an install.
“We wanted to let people know that we’re here and capable of doing anything you see at Hot Import Nights in custom fabrication and installation. We want people to realize they can get that ecommerce low price and come in an get that custom installation,” said Sonic’s Calvin Peterson.
Sonic had a large 20 by 60-foot booth at the show and held product giveaways on the main stage of the event including 100 iPod adapters from Scosche.
Hot Import Nights is in its 15th season of car show/digital entertainment events held around the country.
