TAMP BAY, FL – AAMP of America is proud to announce that it has hired Joe Durre – a 12-volt industry veteran with extensive experience with such companies as BMW and Caterpillar – as the company’s new Director of Engineering. In this capacity, Durre will be responsible for developing and managing a world-class team whose mission is to create the next generation of technological innovations in OEM integration, mobile electronics accessories, car audio components and much more.
Durre was selected because of his extensive experience in the automotive industry; specifically his work development, systems integration and vehicle validation for the BMW Z3, X3, X5 and X6. Additionally, the AAMP of America leadership was impressed by Durre’s reputation for managing design and engineering teams operating out of multiple locations across the globe, as well as developing “best practices” for field testing and quality assurance.
“While many companies are cutting back on their R&D capabilities, we at AAMP of America are investing a great deal into building an R&D and engineering team that is second to none in the 12-volt industry. Joe has proven to us through his talent and experience that he is the right person to lead this team and ensure all AAMP of America brands are on the cutting edge of mobile audio and electronics technology,” said Josh Triplett, AAMP VP Product Development.
