Avidworx Updates Free In-Store Merchandising

Retail display maker Avidworx has updated its free in-store merchandising system so that any retailer can present a professional appearance.

Avidworx PRICEWORX-tagIt’s Priceworx price tagging system creates computer-generated price tags that include the store logo.  The system helps “even the most junior salesperson” sell each product knowledgeably, says the company.

The price tags include symbols that tell the salesmen how much he can discount the product or even what the price of the product is online.

The tags don’t include bar codes that consumers can use to comparison price shop while in your store.

“A good label should have the logo of the retailer, which is the most important logo in the store,” said Avidworx CEO Marcel Newell. “We want stores to brand themselves.  It takes 17 to 27 times for a customer to see something before they act on it or remember it.  The average store has over 250 SKUs inside.  So if we can put the logo out in front of them 250 times, we’ve done a pretty good job of ingraining the store’s brand into memory.”

Dealers may sign up here to use the label system, which works with all types of displays, and retailers need not be an Avidworx customer.

Currently hundreds of retailers are participating and Avidworx hopes its recent update will boost usage to over a thousand dealers.
