AmazonNew Jersey residents will start paying taxes on purchases from starting July 2013.

Last month, the online retail giant also agreed to begin collecting a 6.25-percent sales tax in Texas starting July 1.

As for the N.J. deal, Amazon is also building 2 new distribution centers in that state, which will create 1,500 jobs and marks a $130 million investment by Amazon.
