Rockford is running a Facebook contest, giving away a $25,000 grand prize to help drive consumers to its retailers, said the company.
The contest coincides with the 2012 Vans Warped Tour (that Rockford helps sponsor) and runs April 30 through August 5.
Customers who “Like” Rockford Fosgate on Facebook can enter to win 2 tickets to the Vans Warped Tour and a gift bag of Sanctiond Automotive Premium Care products worth $150.
Rockford will choose numerous winners for the 41 tour stops and then help connect showgoers to local Rockford dealers.
It works like this: Rockford is bringing its SoundLab demo vehicle to each tour stop. If you enter and survive the 10,000 watt pressure chamber, you get a certificate you can redeem at a local dealer for a chance to win the $25,000 jackpot. (Note: CEoutlook did not last more than 10 seconds in the pressure chamber at CES).
In 2011, the Vans Warped Tour attracted more than 550,000 concert goers, with 89 percent of those attending the tour for 2 or more years. Ages ranging from 15-25 account for more than 90 percent of tour’s attendees, with an average age of 18. bands will perform during the 2012 tour, including both newcomers as well as high profile artists.
