Clarion Appoints New President

Clarion Corporation of America announced Monday the appointment of Paul Lachner to President, replacing Tom Hayashi who will retire at the end of the week.

Paul LachnerLachner has served at Clarion for over ten years, most recently as Executive VP of Automotive Sales.  In the past he was also a manager at Sony of  OEM product team for leading auto companies and he was a lead project engineer at General Motors.  He has also held management posts at Rockwell International’s automotive division and at Valeo Electronics.

Clarion said Lachner has been a key contributor to its success.   “I have the utmost confidence in the strong leadership Paul demonstrates, and that he will guide this company successfully into the future,” states Hayashi who has been with Clarion for more than 37 years and was president since April 2010.

Lachner said,  “I look forward to leading the corporation in our new fiscal year with an increased focus on connected products and solutions.  Our future is filled with exciting, innovative products and services for both our aftermarket and OEM customers.”
