SiriusXM service is available as a free trial on pre-owned vehicles from just about every car maker out there and now Toyota adds its names to the list.
Buyers of Toyota Certified Used Vehicles and Scion Certified Pre-Owned models with a SiriusXM radio can get a 3-month free subscription.
Other car makers offering free satellite radio trials on used vehicles include GM, Chrysler, Ford, Nissan and Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Volvo, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and VW.
Nearly half of people who test trial SiriusXM end up buying a subscription, at least on new vehicles. We don’t believe SiriusXM has announced this “conversion rate” for used cars.
