At CES last week, Rockford Fosgate announced new active displays for its Punch and Power speakers.
The displays are intended “to show a consumer what Rockford’s idea of a system sounds like,” said Rockford’s Theresa Hephner.
Each display is about 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide. They hold three pairs of speakers with A/B comparison between them. Dealer cost is $3,200 each.
Rockford also announced a mobile app versions of its web site for the iPhone with a wiring wizard, sound pressure level meter, subwoofer enclosure calculator and other data.
The new web site also now has a “comparator” section so you can compare a stock audio system with Rockford subs in sealed enclosures, or vented enclosures or custom enclosures.
