Douglasville, Georgia – January 4, 2012 – Omega Research and Development, Inc. announced today the introduction of 4 new firmware releases to their Omegalink product line The DL-GM9 which is compatible with the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic, The DL-MA which is compatible with Mazda 3/Mazda 6, the TB-HK2 which is compatible with 2003-2012 Hyundai/Kia models and the TB-FM3 which is compatible with 2011-2012 Ford/Lincoln models. With new firmware upgrades available they now offer Omega CarLink compatibility among several other feature enhancements.
“Our Omegalink product line represents the ultimate in integration. These new firmware solutions turn the Omegalink into an immobilizer bypass for select Chevrolet Sonic / Mazada 3 and Mazda 6 / Hyundai / Kia /ford / Lincoln vehicles through the factory keyless entry transmitter,” said Mike Thompson, Product Development Manager, Omega Research and Development. “This product reduces a dealer’s SKU requirements; lower installation costs and reduces installation time…all elements that translate into higher profits for our dealer partners.”
These new firmware solutions are part of the Omegalink Databus suite of OEM integration solutions which simply plug into the system’s data port saving installer time and effort. All new introduction takes things a step further with BLADE cartridge compatibility. This eliminates any wiring between the module and remote start system as well as eliminating extra modules to mount in the vehicle for the least invasive installation possible. The BLADE-AL, universal doorlock and transponder cartridge supports almost 3,000 vehicle applications including CANbus vehicles and the BLADE-TB universal transponder cartridge supports immobilizer bypass for over 1,700 vehicles.

The DL-MA, Covers data immobilizer bypass as well as keyless entry, security and comfort feature integration for Mazda 3 and 6 ‘Smart Key’ models 2009-2012. Supports ‘KLON’ SINGLE-KEY PROGRAMMING on both automatic and manual transmission models an NO DEALER SCANTOOL REQUIRED for manual transmission models. Available for OL-MDB-ALL and OL-BLADE-AL modules. With KLŌN, the software instantly creates a “virtual copy” of the vehicle key that is then programmed into the FLCAN module and enables the vehicle to start when activated by a remote start system.
