Boca Raton, FL– NAV-TV has teamed up with the Unicorn Children’s Foundation to help raise money for children with Autism and related disabilities.
The Unicorn Children’s Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to education, awareness and research on behalf of individuals with developmental, communication and learning disorders.
This year the Unicorn Children’s Foundation will host the 4th annual Denim, Diamonds and Dice Casino Night that will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton, FL. The proceeds from this event will support the opening of the Unicorn Community High School, projected to open its doors in South Florida in August 2012.
“Autism does not affect just the children, but their families and the entire community as well,” stated NAV-TV President and Unicorn Children’s Foundation Board of Directors member, Constance Josanu. “At this point, there is no cure for autism; it is considered to be a life-long disability. However, with the proper education of these special-needs children, they can lead a purposeful and productive life. A High School dedicated to the needs of these individuals is a step in the right direction. It is my honor to chair this year’s 4th Annual Denim Diamonds and Dice Casino Night. I pledge on behalf of NAV-TV to continue our support and dedication to the Autism community and improving the life of those affected and their families.”
