Parrot to Ship New Bluetooth Car Kit

Parrot will deliver next month a new  Bluetooth car kit that lets you keep two phones paired on the device at the same time.

Parrot MINIKIT+With the MINIKIT+ you can receive a call from your coworker from your work phone via Bluetooth, then call your son or daughter on your personal phone handsfree, without having to unpair a phone, said Parrot.

The MINIKIT+ automatically syncs its directory with the connected mobile phone.

For incoming calls, the driver verbally commands “accept” or “reject” so there’s no need to touch the phone. To make calls, the driver presses a green button on the device which mounts on the visor. Then he can state the name of a contact in his address book and the unit dials automatically.

The MINIKIT+ provides access to a voice service that lets you hear your texts or emails read verbally and issue verbal responses (with a subscription fee).

The stereo A2DP Bluetooth kit will ship in October at $89.
