Directus began shipping last week a new Prodigy One kit that adds navigation to a factory Cadillac CTS or SRX radio, if you didn’t order it when you purchased your car.
Users get full OEM grade navigation and a fully interactive touch screen without replacing the radio. The screen is motorized and pops up on the dash, in the same form factor as Cadillac’s navigation radio option.
The Prodigy One can also be expanded to add WiFi, or 3G service to the factory radio. Other options include a rear view camera, hands free Bluetooth, a radar detector a USB hub and vehicle tracking.
There are separate kits for the CTS and SRX. They include a 4GB SD card with Navteq maps and are priced at $3,499.
