Scosche is now shipping the car stereo-aimed USB drive with a “low profile” so it won’t be easily knocked out of the car radio by the driver or passenger. Retailers may sell it along with a car radio to add some profit to the sale, said the company.
Instead of protruding the usual 1 to 2 inches out of the radio face, it extends less than a 1/2 inch, said Scosche. The drive holds 2GB of music and is called the model FSH2G, at a suggested retail price of $14.99. We first mentioned it 10 days ago with an undisclosed ship date and price.
