Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC) announced an add-an-amp interface for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep CAN-Bus vehicles. It lets you add a 4-channel aftermarket amp to the cars’ sound systems.
The kit plugs into the cars’ fixed-level pre-amp audio signal and interprets CAN bus data messages and then gives you 4-channel, full-range (20-20Hz) audio output (and you can adjust the volume).
You get car-specific harnesses and a 4-channel output harness. The kit is the C2A-CHY23 at $149.95 suggested retail price. –Lynn Shannon
