NAV-TV is shipping the first Sirius radio kit for late model Porsches.
The new SIR-PCM3.0 kit adds Sirius satellite radio to Porsche PCM3.0 radios with touch screens.
It gives you direct control over Sirius from the screen and the steering wheel controls. You can control presets, category lists, and on-screen song and artist descriptions.
The kit links to the MOST network. It’s compatible with 2009 to 2011 Porsche 997, Boxter and Cayman models and the 2009 to 2010 Porsche Cayenne.
Nav-TV didn’t tell us the price, but it noted that the alternative is to purchase a new Sirius-ready Porsche radio plus activation codes at close to $6,000.
