If it’s price keeping you from buying an iPhone, then a little patience may pay off.
Apple is working on a series of iPhones the first of which may carry only half the current price of the phone (now starting at $199), reports The Wall Street Journal, quoting sources familiar with the project.
The first of the mini iPhones would also be about half the size of the current model. Going under the code name N97, the smaller phone is due for release this summer.
Apple is also considering making its cloud service, MobileMe—now at $99/year–free to users. It may revamp the service to become a digital storage “locker” for photos, music and videos.
