eLocity7 Froyo Tablet Ships

The new up-featured eLocity7 tablet from Stream TV Networkds will be available this week from Sears.com, Newegg.com, Walmart.com, BJs.com, TigerDirect.com, Amazon.com and MicroCenter.com.

The eLocity7 is the first tablet running Android 2.2 (Froyo), claims Stream TV. The 7-inch WiFi tablet also includes a Tegra 2 processor enabled for 3D gaming and has a 1080p HDMI output at a street price ranging from $299 to $369 with different bundles for cables and software.

The device first became available for pre-order on Amazon.com in September followed by other Web sites in October. Pre-order customers will start getting their tablets Monday.

Stream TV’s CEO Mathu Rajan says the company has doubled its original production targets to meet initial demand.

Additional eLocity7 features include a capacitive touch screen, Web cam and 3-axis accelerometer, plus 4GB of internal flash memory, a micro SD slot supporting up to 32GB of extra storage, and a USB port supporting up to 64GB more storage.
