Scosche is one of the first out of the gate with a line of accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Tab –a serious iPad rival– that went on sale over the weekend.
For the car, there’s a reVIVE II car charger for about $25 and a dashDock gt1 kit that mounts the Galaxy Tab on the car’s dashboard (or a bedside table or desk). It use a non-marring suction cup at $30.
Other accessories include a freeKey Bluetooth keyboard at $60, and an in-wall charger in black or white for $30. A back-up portable lithium ion battery with 2 USB ports is $80.
Scosche is also offering several cases and screen protectors. A folio leather and carbon fiber case runs about $45 and rubber and other cases are available from $30 to $25.
The accessories will be offered in November at scosche.com.
Both The Wall Street Journal and New York Times gave the Samsung Galaxy Tab solid reviews and deemed it a serious competitor to the iPad.
