Microsoft said it will launch its Project Natal (gesture control device for the Xbox 360) in October: sort of. Gamertag Radio is showing a video interview in Saudi Arabia with a Microsoft Saudi marketing manager Syed Bilal Tariq claiming that Project Natal is launching worldwide around October 2010 and that more information will be forthcoming during E3 2010. Microsoft has said in the past the device would launch in time for the 2010 holiday season so the revelation (if true) would make sense. Project Natal was unveiled a year ago at E3. It goes a step beyond Nintendo’s Wii controller by using a camera that tracks your body movements and even facial movements so you use your full body as a game controller.
