Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) named its five accessory vendor partners and said it will announce its video vendor in the next two weeks.
The new accessories suppliers to MESA are HushMat, ATrend, USA Spec, Metra, and IXOS. They join other announced MESA partners Kenwood, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, and Hertz/Audison.
MESA, a member-owned 12-volt buying/marketing group, will also announce one or two additional vendor partners in a couple more categories shortly. In addition, the group will announce its first round of retail members apart from its board of directors next week, said executive director David Schwartz.
MESA hopes eventually to encompass 60 retail members with a buying power of about $0.5 billion.
